CM is highest circulating magazine in construction sector

10 September 2018 | By CM staff

Construction Manager has consolidated its position as the highest circulating magazine in the UK construction sector.

CM’s circulation of 31,509 for 2017-18 puts it comfortably ahead of other industry titles Building and Construction News.

The figure, an increase of 2.6% on the previous year, was released by ABC (Audited Bureau of Circulation), the publishing industry standard for measuring magazine circulation.

The last independently audited circulation published by Building was 10,858 in 2014. PricewaterhouseCoopers was the auditor.

Construction News has not published an independently audited figure since 2013-14, when its circulation was 8,595 according to ABC.

As well as its high print circulation, CM’s website – which unlike industry competitors has no paywall – reaches an even bigger audience of construction professionals, with over 58,000 subscribers to its email newsletters.

Considering that most Professional Organisations within the property and construction industry have monthly publications this is excellent news as far as the CIOB is concerned.

The team who put the CM magazine together are an invaluable asset to the CIOB and should be celebrated.
