  1. This is such a tragic and avoidable death. How many of us seethe at roadworks and road workers, when all they are all just doing are their jobs, like we all do. We all deserve to go home to our families at the end of the day.
    We need to protect ourselves, our families and the people who work for us.

    What ever happened to corporate manslaughter? Fines aren’t punishment are they; money doesn’t hurt or grieve or have consequences.

    What a shame and what a waste of a precious life. My heart goes out to the family and friend.

    But I do have one query…?

    To whom is the fine payable?
    Surely this should go to the family! And not some nameless entity or bottomless government coffer…
