Clients and policy leaders join Digital Construction Summit line-up

More leading industry figures have joined the Digital Construction Summit 2020 line-up, ensuring a strong representation of clients and policy leaders at the event, which starts next week.

Over 2,000 construction professionals have already registered for this year’s summit, which runs from 29 September to 1 October.

The opening session, at 1030 on 29 September, ‘Putting digital at the heart of the built environment’s recovery’, now includes Fiona Moore, information management consultant at the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB). She will speak about the work of the CDBB’s interoperability expert group. This session will also feature the Construction Innovation Hub’s David Philp, the CDBB’s Mark Enzer, and Buildots’ co-founder Aviv Leibovici.

The third session, at 1030 on 30 September, ‘The power of data and its potential for construction’, has expanded its line up to Michael Hudson, associate director, Turner & Townsend. He will join Dr PCSG’s Jennifer Macdonald, Atvero’s Liam Southwood and Chapman Taylor Architects’ Stephen Higgon.

The seventh and final session, at 1430 on 1 October, ‘Creating a ‘golden thread’ of digital documentation to improve project efficiency, safety and client relationship’, will now feature Trevor Hardy, principal engineering leader at Transport for London (TfL). He will join Ringway Jacobs’ Chris Goodacre and Oculo COO Wojtek Szymczak to discuss how digital tech and data are being used by TfL.
