  1. Safety firm Arco has launched a combined head-set and protective ear muff for high-noise environments such as building sites. The Sensear Smart Muff range suppresses background noise while isolating and enhancing speech and can be connected to a mobile phone via Bluetooth.

  2. At least they are trying to do something about the issue instead of just doing it.
An office block next to where I work was victim to arson a few years back and there was damage to our building too, resulting in us being in temperary offices for 7months!

  3. Feeling safe is a human right.
Everyone should feel safe, but a lot of people don’t.

Suprisingly one in five people don’t feel safe at work, and an amazing 1 in 12 don’t feel safe at home.
    Hard to imagine, right?

Through the purchase of Personal Alarms, Door / Window Alarms and Locks and Latches you can feel safe at home again.

Nobody likes the idea of handing over a fake note at a store and being accused of being a crook ‘coz the guy in the last store gave you a phoney.

Fake Money Detection is cheap and easy to use, both for personal use at home, and for use in a self-run business/store.

If you don’t feel safe at home or at work, then you don’t want to be there.
If you don’t want to be there… Why are you?!

    Food for thought.

  4. Security of construction sites is a massive part of this. Unfortunately, there will always be people out to damage propoerty.

Of major concern too is the production of poisonous gases during a blaze. These pose a threat to people and the environment.

I witnessed a really large fire at a site in Manchester. A lot of people gathered to watch the blaze (including me) as it lit up the night sky.

It was obvious by the smeel of the smoke that some nasty chemicals were burning and I took that as my cue to leave. I often wonder if any of the bystanders stayed there too long and were enjured.
