  1. So what happens when they decide a quota and not enough women show up?

Or they show up, and then realise than work is something that takes dedication, may be difficult and not suit the work life balance, and so vanish after a short while?

Or the work-life balance gets adjusted to the demands (and they will be demands) of feminists, and then men decide they want it too?

Or the women turn out to be hopeless, but want to be paid 20% more anyway?

Anyway, where are the quotas to address the lack of balance in other areas of work, like teaching, nursing, vetinary work, GP practice, and the like?

  2. I fully agree with the last comments expressed! Politicians are forever trying to divide and rule! How? by imposing employment quotas in place of on merit appointments vainly to try and win back voter support for their failures and in the process destroy the very economy of the country!!!

  3. In response to Charles’ archaic attitudes:
Why do you presume women don’t want to work hard but men do? (Gender Bias)
Why do you presume that a healthy work life balance is the preserve of women? (Gender Bias)
Why should hopeless women not be entitled to 20% more? (Hopeless men have been getting 20% more for years!)
Quotas do exist in other industries but they are more evolved and are now onto bigger issues of race or sexuality diversity not something as 1970s as Women’s Lib!
There’s half a world of untapped potential out there, we need to see what it can do for our industry!
