  1. How can there be any more risk from a Glulam Structure than from trussed rafter roof construction; the latter are used as standard practice and even built into the majority of stone age walling structures.

    This is targeted ARSON.

    However to mitigate against further ‘mysterious fires’ why not coat timber in something like Albiflame or some other intumescent coating as part of the Building Regulation requirements?
