CIOB on the hunt for five new trustees

13 December 2019 | By CM staff

The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is looking for five new trustees to replace the five due to step down in June 2020 as they reach the end of their three-year term.

The body is on the hunt for MCIOB or FCIOB members who want to help grow the organisation’s influence on the big issues and drive forward its new corporate plan.

The new trustees will be tasked with helping to realise the CIOB’s vision to “improve the quality of life for the users and creators of our built environment” and its mission “to drive up professional standards, push forward innovation, influence political decisions and strengthen talent across the global CIOB community”.

The voluntary position, which is for a three-year term, sees expenses paid in accordance with the CIOB’s expense policy. Three of the vacancies will be elected to the board of trustees through a ballot of members while the remaining two will be selected by the board.

The application process closes on 10 January 2020 at midday.
