  1. The articale was very enlightening and I am interested in this 3 day course.

  2. I agree with your 5 point they sound very realistic. however it has often been said that in the construction industry that there are no women that we are all gentle mean. which implies that there is gender equality in the industry than any in any other one.

  3. Hi I’m afraid I strongly disagree with your assertion in paragraph 3 of your article above about women getting soft jobs. In my experience on site on development and infrastructure programmes professional female trainees and leaders carry out the same professional roles as men. The patronising behaviour you suggest might have happened historically and occasionally. However it is an unhelpful to suggest it is anything other than a caricature almost entirely from a time past.

    Kind Regards TD

  4. Hi Christine, If you want to know more about the course please send over an email to [email protected]
Peter, thank you for your comments, Im glad you liked them though I should think our definitions of gender equality differ!!

  5. It does still happen TD! I entirely disagree with you!

  6. Hello, Chrissi! I saw you on ‘Cowboy Trap’ this morning, and you’re hot! I’m sorry, I know this is totally off the topic of your blog, but when you’re hot you’re hot, right? ;) Dan

  7. Hi Dan,

Thank you for the post, you’re right it does somewhat detract from the nature of the blog, but I shall take the compliment with the good nature I’m sure it was intended; after all when you put yourself forward for a TV show you are allowing strangers to judge you.

I am impressed that you made the link between “Cowboy Trap” and The diversity blog which leads me to think you are a forward thinking individual committed to improving equality in the workplace which is of course wonderful. You might need a little fine tuning around the sexual objectification of women but we can’t all be perfect now can we?

    Warm Regards
    Chrissi
