25 firms win spots on £1.2bn modular framework

A total of 25 firms have won a place on a £1.2bn framework to provide modular buildings in the education and healthcare sectors.

The framework for the Crown Commercial Service involves the supply, design, delivery, construction and maintenance of both permanent and temporary buildings.

It has been divided into seven lots, involving both the purchase and hire of buildings in the education and healthcare sectors.

The framework went live on 3 April and will run until 2 April 2022.

The firms appointed to each lot are:

Lot 1 (purchase of education-related modular buildings)

Lot 2 (purchase of healthcare-related modular buildings)

Lot 3 (hire of education-related modular buildings)

Lot 4 (hire of healthcare-related modular buildings)

Lot 5 (hire or purchase of non-education and non-healthcare-related modular Bbuildings of capital cost up to £750k or hire cost of up to £150k)

Lot 6 (hire or purchase of non-education and non-healthcare-related modular buildings of capital cost from £750k to £3.5m or hire cost from £150k to £700k)

Lot 7 (hire or purchase of non-education and non-healthcare-related modular buildings of capital cost greater than £3.5m or hire cost greater than £700k)
